The project aims to help 25 traumatised Syrian and Lebanese teenage boys and 25 teen girls aged 10 – 18 years old from various parts of Syria and Lebanon who have suffered during the violent events that are taking place in Syria and the collapsing situation In Lebanon
Lebanon has had the highest number of refugees per capita in the world.
Since the Syrian conflict began in 2011, millions of refugees have sought shelter here.
Your donations go a long way. YOU can make a difference! Join us in helping to change lives for the better and create a sustainable future for all!
This project is a modest contribution to serving the church in Syria and Lebanon by taking care of severe cases of teenage refugees and Lebanese who are affected badly by the ongoing situation. Your prayerful support and financial contribution to this project are highly appreciated. They will not only help the teens who are damaged to have a better future but will enable them to find true love and change forever.
We have also sponsored trauma ‘camps’, which many refugees have attended with positive results.
By building personal relationships and befriending those who have lost so much, we hope to help them to rebuild their lives giving them hope and a future.
Our work is not just inside the campus, Sara’s home team has been part of Beirut’s rebuilding and offering our donation services. In the Bekaa region, more than 500 hundred families have benefited from blankets this winter. And more than seven hundred families have got their food partials from our centre. Many activities are being held by our staff and volunteers outside of the campus. All of the families we are helping are registered in our system with full background information.
Current Projects in Lebanon
1. House of Sarah’s School:
The school project has been launched, developed and adapted to provide the best education for our students from 2019. At the present moment, our school is following hybrid learning, students are receiving their everyday classes online, taking their weekly worksheets from the school and having their exams on campus while the country is still in lockdown.
2. Carpentry workshop:
In partnership with Together For The Family, boys between the ages of 12-16, who have gotten the basic school knowledge are having daily carpentry workshops, with the following outcomes:
- Use a hand plane
- Prepare Lumber with hand tools
- Cut a Mortise and Joints
- Cut Dovetail joints
3. The Boys Club
Boys are a main target in the society we are working with, to get in touch with, to open their minds and make them understand the world and get engaged properly. As much as we work with female empowerment and good thinking, the society they live in is mainly and exclusively man-centred. They believe that they have the power over women controlling their life and disrespecting them and just using them as a tool for having kids. And that is where we are trying to put our hands and help, changing the mindset of the boys at this age is easier but in a critical way very dangerous.
4. Other courses:
- Computer workshop
- Stitching Courses
- Reading and Writing Skills and Bible study
Global Hope In Action has partnered with Together For The Family.

Izihar Issac Kassis established ‘together for the family ‘ in 2010 in response to challenges faced by women and children, concerned about family welfare and well-being.
Projects include:
The future vision is to further develop services and provide a community Care centre building.
The inflation is increasing, 2000 US dollars are now worth 100 dollars.
Since the explosion at the port and other challenges in Lebanon, support is given to poor communities as well as refugees.

If you would like to sponsor any of the following needs, we would be most grateful!
Funding for our own staff salaries is also needed as that has much reduced since the start of the pandemic
