In December 2022 Global Hope in Action was pleased to donate to Nurture the Children International for their Brush Up campaign in Nigeria. 

Funds were expended as follows:

N421,868 for NTC CHRISTMAS PARTY – 21st December 2022: 745 children attended, 700 gift packs were distributed by Father Christmas. Over 1000 Christmas meals of Jellof rice - carrots, peas, green beans with pieces of fried beef were served. EVERYONE was fed: children and adults that accompanied them. This translated to approximately N423 ~£0.50 per child.

N155,245 for NTC IDP BRUSH UP – 31st January 2023: 50 girls had their hair washed and plaited, 145 boys got haircuts and 20 got pedicure and manicures. 576 toothbrushes and 520 toothpaste packs were purchased – only 254 were distributed. The remaining stock will be distributed when school resumes in September during a health /dental care talk in Ron District. N722 ~£0.80 per child.

Fuelling cost (Diesel), repairs, call credit and transport logistics: N78,477 - 60 litres purchased at N950 per litre for two trips to village to deliver items and transport staff.
